The Difference that Matters

With a wavefront analyzer generating a 3-D map of your entire optical system, your surgeon has a highly-detailed view of your eye that allows higher order corrections and makes the procedure as much as 25 times more precise than conventional LASIK.

The Procedure

Gently reflecting light off your retina with the wavefront analyzer, your surgeon captures the unique optical map of your eye. Once this information is electronically transferred to the laser, anesthetic drops are applied and a flap is created on the surface of the eye. Cool laser light is applied to the inner corneal layer which reshapes the tissue to correct your vision. The flap is then aligned and closed, and the healing process begins. The entire procedure lasts approximately 10 minutes.
